……..Grace Budoloski is a versatile Canadian soprano hailing from the Prairies of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Grace is currently an artist-in-residence with L’Opéra de.Montréal’s L’Atelier Lyrique.

Praised by Opera Canada for her “crystal clear soprano” and “effortless coloratura”, Grace Budoloski is a Canadian coloratura soprano hailing from the prairies of Winnipeg, Manitoba. In the 2026/27 season, Grace will join the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal as an artist in residence, marking an exciting new chapter in her artistic development. This summer, she returns to her hometown to perform with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra as part of their Canada Day celebrations.

In her first season with l’Atelier Lyrique, Grace will perform the soprano solo in Mozart’s Requiem with L’Orchestre de L’Agora, workshop the title role in A Prayer for Owen Meany (Pacific Opera Victoria and Opéra Magnolia), and cover the role of Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier (Orchestre Métropolitain), sing Mélisse in Atys, and perform the Paggio, while covering Gilda in Rigoletto with Opéra de Montréal.

Recent highlights include Grace’s debut with Manitoba Opera as Barbarina in
their production of Le nozze di Figaro this past April, where she was named “an
Artist to watch” by the Winnipeg Free Press. Grace was also a finalist in the
Women’s Musical Club of Winnipeg McLellan Competition, where she
Performed with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.

Grace’s stage and concert highlights include Countess Adèle in Le Comte Ory with Manitoba Underground Opera, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel with Manitoba Underground Opera, Meg Giry in The Phantom of the Opera with Opera on the Avalon, and soprano soloist in Zelenka’s Miserere Mass with the Victoria Symphony. She is a recipient of the Annamaria Bamji Award for Emerging Opera Singers from Pacific Opera Victoria, as well as the Winnipeg Music Festival’s Gilbert and Sullivan Trophy.

Grace holds a Bachelor of Music and an Artist Diploma in Operatic Performance
from the University of Manitoba, as well as a Master of Music from the University of Victoria.

Grace’s artistry in opera and concert repertoire is enhanced by her extensive
background in musical theatre, dance, and choreography. Her musical theatre
credits include Phoebe D’Ysquith in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder with Opera NUOVA, Kaylee in The Prom with Dry Cold Productions, and Julia in The Band’s Visit with Winnipeg Jewish Theatre. She is also an active choreographer and educator, with choreographic credits for Opera NUOVA and the Desautels Faculty of Music (U of M). A lifelong dancer, Grace has toured
internationally with the Rusulka Ukrainian Folk Ensemble and with the Chai Folk Ensemble.
